This newsletter showcases British Council Pakistan’s work in the COVID-19 testing times and also moving forward. The British Council builds connections, understanding and trust between people in the UK and other countries through arts and culture, education and the English language. We are working to address the impact of COVID-19 through the broad themes of Act, Learn and Connect - providing access to learning and development opportunities, empowering and building resilient communities, and strengthening educational and cultural connections. Through our work, we have strived to provide young people and women with uninterrupted educational and English learning opportunities, as well as enabled stakeholders from around the country to engage and work towards creating an inclusive, connected, and resilient Pakistan.
Sixty-four percent of Pakistan’s population is younger than 30 years of age.
