Nearly 10,000 female teachers, 3000 female school leaders, and more than 2.3 million female students have benefited from our Connecting Classrooms programme in the last three years. Since April 2018, more than 310 female trainers have been skilled to deliver the programme. In addition, almost 30 senior policy-level females have been engaged across Pakistan in different national and international policy dialogues. Finally, since 2015, we have provided scholarships to 10,865 female students from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds in primary and secondary schools across Pakistan under the Scotland Scholarship Scheme for young women and girls.
More than 57,000 girls have been benefitted from British Council’s Improve English series called the English Doctor. The girls that participated have improved their writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary skills, as well as their understanding of the differences between British and American English.
