Call for Proposals | Inclusive Leadership and Governance (ILG) Programme:
The British Council is pleased to launch a call for proposals for the Inclusive Leadership and Governance (ILG) Programme, an initiative that will bring together higher education institutions, civil society organisations, community leaders and public sector representatives to advance inclusive governance and leadership in Pakistan.
Aligned with the British Council Strategy 2026–2030 and our commitment to Non-Formal Education, the ILG Programme aims to develop diverse, inclusive leaders equipped to address complex social, governance, and development challenges. Through accredited learning, practical application and mentorship, participants will strengthen their leadership capabilities, foster collaboration across sectors, and drive meaningful change within their institutions, communities and wider society.
We invite UK Higher Education Institutions, in partnership with Pakistani universities, to submit proposals for the design and delivery of this innovative programme.
Programme highlights:
- Accredited Inclusive Leadership and Governance certification
- Five-day residential training programme in Islamabad
- Twelve-week mentorship and leadership action planning
- Collaboration between academia, civil society and public institutions
- Small grant opportunities to support participant-led initiatives
