The Teacher Development Podcast – World Teachers’ Day Special

Three teachers from Pakistan share their inspiration and their attitude toward teaching To celebrate World Teachers’ Day, three teachers from different locations in Pakistan talk about teaching. They discuss what inspired them to start teaching and why they like teaching. They also talk aout the impact teachers can have and how they can support each other.

Episode 13 - Friendship

In this lesson about friendship, the students will discuss what makes a good friend. They’ll find some new vocabulary in a wordsearch about friendship, then use the new words to complete sentences about what makes a good friend.

Episode 12 - Life Cycle of a Flowering Plant

In this lesson about the life cycle of a plant, students will learn some Biology vocabulary by watching a video and completing a worksheet. They’ll complete and colour a picture of a flower, then write a description of it.

Episode 11 - She’s a Policeman

In this lesson about jobs, students will start by talking about what job they’d like to do when they’re older. Then, they’re asked to draw pictures of people doing different jobs.

Episode 10 - Space

In this lesson about the Solar System, students will be introduced to some vocabulary for talking about space. They’ll be told a story about two characters going on a tour of the Solar System and complete a worksheet where they order the planets.

Episode 9 - Routines and Habits

In this lesson about daily routines, students will revise telling the time in English, then be introduced to a new set of vocabulary by the teacher through the use of flashcards.

Episode 8 - My Healthy Lunch

The students will revise vocabulary for food and discuss healthy and unhealthy foods.
