Get ready for a journey through time with The Digital Heritage Trails Project. Discover ancient cities, forgotten forts, and mysterious ruins brought back to life through the power of virtual reality. You’ll explore real archaeological sites like Banbhore, Ratukot, Ranokot, and more!

This immersive experience is your chance to dive into the rich history of the Indus Delta region and learn how MaritimEA is using digital tools to protect these endangered heritage sites from the effects of time, climate change, and more.

Whether you're a history lover or just curious about what lies beneath the surface of the past, this event will change the way you see ancient worlds!

Location: The British Council Karachi Library

This event is suitable for ages 13 and above. 

Prior registration is mandatory; walk-ins will not be allowed.    

Participation fee per child: PKR 500 for members, and PKR 800 for non-members.

Please note that you will have to register for and pay separately for each participating child.  If you are a member but the child isn't, then please register through the non-member link.

ABOUT MARITIMEA:

MaritimEA Research is a grant funded research organisation with expertise in cultural heritage management, maritime archaeology, intangible cultural heritage documentation, ecological surveys, marine protected area management, conservation management, tourism and visitor management. MaritimEA works actively with local fishing communities to promote community driven solutions towards improved environmental, social and economic outcomes.

It is joined by partner organisations, Kaspar Consulting and Apparatus/Chrononaut, in developing the project with the generous support of the Cultural Protection Fund, British Council and the UK Department of Culture, Media & Sport.
