GREAT Scholarships for a Sustainable Future

GREAT scholarships, launched by British Council’s Study UK Campaign together with 43 Universities from the UK, are currently accepting applications. The scholarships are jointly funded by the British Council, the GREAT Britain Campaign, and participating UK higher education institutions.

Out of the 27 scholarships, five awards have been reserved for promoting a sustainable future through degree programs like MSc Climate Change Science and Policy, MRes Sustainable Futures, and MSc Global Wildlife Health and Conservation.

GREAT Scholarships for a sustainable future are for students from Egypt, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey and Vietnam who want to study at a UK university for a one-year postgraduate course in a climate change-related subject. Each scholarship offers a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fees. The five universities awarding these to potential students from Pakistan (non-exclusively) are University of Bristol, University of Derby, University of Glasgow, University of East Anglia and University of Edinburgh.

The deadline for UK universities to finalise their scholars is 18 June for September 2021 intake. To find out more about the scholarships and application process, please visit:
