A performance by classical dancer and social activist Sheema Kermani to celebrate being a woman and accepting ourselves - body, mind and soul. This will be followed by an open masterclass with the audience.
Sheema Kermani is one of the few people who hopes to revive dance in Pakistani society. Her concern with issues of justice, peace, and women’s rights persuaded her to set up the Tehrik-e-Niswan, a cultural action group to create awareness about the subordinate status of women in society and the anti-women laws.
