The British Council Karachi Library invites you to an open mic evening of poetry, music, and honest expression. Set in the warmth of winter, this session offers a safe, non-judgmental space where participants can not only share poetry and music, but also say things out loud that often remain unspoken. Whether through spoken word, music, anonymous notes, or quiet listening, the space welcomes every form of expression.

Featuring a special guest performance and a soothing musical closing, the evening promises connection, reflection, and creativity in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Faiza Yousuf:

For Faiza, music is more than just a hobby, it’s a way of life. With years of playing and singing behind her, she’s taken her sound from local events all the way to opening for Kashmir. She’s at her happiest when she’s jamming and connecting with fellow music lovers.
