You can find magic wherever you look – sit back and relax, all you need is a book! – Dr. Seuss
This summer, we invite young readers and their families to join us for a very special edition of the Summer Reading Challenge as we celebrate 10 years of stories, learning and community at the library.
Inspired by the UK's 2026 Summer Reading Challenge theme, Read –to- the Beat, and keeping in-line with the National Year of Reading, this four-week reading adventure will encourage children to discover the joy of reading while celebrating a decade of inspiring readers and connecting communities through books.
From exciting adventures and heartwarming friendships to journeys around the world, children will explore stories that spark imagination and creativity.
