This interactive workshop is designed to equip young women—especially early-career professionals—with essential financial knowledge and practical tools to make confident, informed decisions about their money. Tailored specifically to the Pakistani context, the session will cover everything from budgeting and saving to debt management and financial goal setting.

Understanding Financial Literacy:
Learn key financial terms and concepts, the importance of financial education, and how gendered financial inclusion affects women in Pakistan.

Budgeting & Expense Management:
Discover how to create a personal budget using the 50/30/20 rule, identify spending habits, and manage day-to-day expenses effectively.

Saving & Investment Strategies:
Understand the importance of saving, types of accounts available in Pakistan, and basic investment tools including mutual funds and compound interest.

Using Financial Services in Pakistan:
Explore digital and traditional financial services including mobile wallets, microfinance, and how to assess banking options.

Credit & Debt Management:
Learn how credit cards work, how to avoid common debt traps, and build responsible borrowing habits.

About the Facilitator:

Irteza Ubaid is a financial literacy advocate, TEDxLahore curator, and former Skoll Fellow. With a background in project finance, personal finance, and asset management, Irteza has empowered women and youth across Pakistan through engaging workshops and personalized financial coaching.
He holds an MBA from LUMS and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Shams Power Limited, a leading energy project financing company. Irteza brings both corporate insight and grassroots engagement to help participants navigate personal finance with clarity and confidence.
