Step into the shoes of a changemaker for a day with British Council Karachi Library! Leader for a Day is a creative workshop for youth aged 14–17 to explore global issues that shape our world, such as climate change, poverty, equality, and education. Participants will work in small groups to choose a theme, explore its local and global impact, and imagine solutions they would lead. They’ll present their ideas in a short group presentation, focusing on curiosity, teamwork, and finding their voice as young changemakers. Certificate of participation will be provided.

About the facilitator:
Sameer Ali Khan has years of experience in the development sector, working to amplify youth voices, promote cultural diversity, and strengthen community resilience across Pakistan. His journey began in Thatta as a volunteer with the British Council’s Active Citizens Project and has represented Pakistan at the United Nations in Geneva, served as a Kofi Annan Foundation Fellow, and leads two impactful initiatives Collective Pakistan and Safar Buddies, a women-friendly cultural and religious tourism platform recognized by UNDP and the Government of Vietnam.
