Synopsis of Crab Day: As part of a fishing community’s annual ritual, a young boy must catch his first crab in order to become a man and gain his father’s approval.
Synopsis of Gorka: A French exchange student visits England for the first time and finds himself at the centre of a British family dynamic.
The screening will be followed by a moderated conversation on the films with the facilitator, Amar Ali.

About Amar Ali:
Amar Ali is a filmmaker, editor and video specialist with over a decade long experience in the creative industry. He has a Bachelors Degree in Film and TV from the National College of Arts. Amar loves watching films and dissecting them from a filmmaker's lens. He is excited to bring his industry experience and moderate the conversation with the event participants.
