Join us at the Lahore library for an exclusive conversation with the author Sidra F. Sheikh, as she launches the sequel of her sci-fi novel, The Light Blue Jumper. The sequel is titled “A Shade Darker” and the conversation will be moderated by the award-winning author, Awais Khan. The participants will also get a chance for a Q/A session with Sidra learning about her writing and publishing journey.

Synopsis of “A Shade Darker”:The inter-planetary forces (IPF) rule the known universe.  A motley crew of rebels, led by Madam, although the Good Doctor would strongly disagree, are aided by Zaaro, a most reluctant hero. The rebellion is successful. Zaaro disappears as abruptly as he arrived. Madam and her crew should probably establish a new galactic order but that is too much work and way out of budget. The rebels re-brand as the resistance, Madam and the Good Doctor take up the mantle of the IPF, while a third, sinister force, continues to grow in the darkness. Will the former friends destroy each other before they discover who their real enemy is? Will Zaaro return to help them once again?”
