The bag scanner is to be used for detecting any explosives or suspicious items which someone is trying to enter the British Council premises.

Therefore, we invite potential supplier/distributor/vendors to produce a quotation for the supply, installation and maintenance of an X-ray bag scanner to the standards expected by the British Council.

British Council seeks to procure a baggage scanner for its Lahore office, complying with the following specifications:

High-level Specs

• Tunnel Size (WxH): 600*500 mm minimum

• Speed: 0.1 to 0.3 m/s

• Height of Transmission Belt: At least 700mm

• Maximum Load: 100 kg

• Monitor: 21.5 inch LED

• System function: High density alert, explosives detection, date/time display, user management, training

• X-Ray System: 80KV tube voltage, seal oil cooling (preferable)

• Preferred size (LxWxH): 2120x980x1380 mm
