Teaching English Radio – series two

British Council’s TeachingEnglish Radio series one is launched in partnership with the Elementary and Secondary Education Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.  

What is TeachingEnglish Radio?

TeachingEnglish Radio is a radio production by the British Council that promotes the sharing of ideas among teachers to improve the teaching and learning of the English language.

Already broadcast in over 30 countries, TeachingEnglish Radio is a series of radio programmes specially designed for teachers of English.

Twelve 15 minute weekly episodes are overflowing with teaching advice and tips on popular topics like:

  • how to find and create teaching resources
  • how to use pair and group work to manage large classes  
  • how teachers can improve their own English language skills  
  • how to make lessons fun and interesting and much more…

Featured are interviews with English teachers and recordings direct from classrooms from around the world.

English teachers can tune in and learn from the experience of other teachers in dealing with everyday classroom issues

Simply tune into FM 92.2 every Saturday at 5:30 pm to listen to the weekly episodes and find out more.
