We're collaborating with Spoken Stage for an exciting workshop to help your child use their creativity and unique voice to express themselves with confidence.
Combining poetry, performance, and storytelling, this three-day workshop will help your child to discover their own unique style through writing, art, and theatre exercises, to explore the power of performance.

- This workshop is suitable for ages 9 to 12.
- Workshop fee per participant (payable at the library on the day of the event): PKR 3,000 for members and PKR 3,500 for non-members.

About the facilitators:
Mariam Paracha is an artist and writer. She studied Design from Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture and did her MA in Theatre and Art Education from Emerson College, Boston. She is the co-founder of Spoken Stage, an organisation that promotes freedom of expression through art, performance and writing in Pakistan. In 2015, she started Mano Animation Studios with Usman Riaz and Khizer Riaz. She is the art director for the feature hand drawn animated film The Glassworker.
Shameneh works with Spoken Stage to help promote spoken word as a medium, conducting workshops and hosting events, helping encourage people to express themselves. Her poetry explores the idea of the body, the self, womanhood, families, and interpersonal relationships.
