Pearson Edexcel will not run their International GCSE and International AS/A Level exams in the May/June 2021 series. Instead, they will offer an alternative assessment approach.

Pearson Edexcel will share details of the assessed approach on their website soon.

Private candidates can choose to make an entry with British Council.

If you have already made your entry, you do not need to take further action at this stage and you do not need to withdraw.

We will advise on next steps when Pearson has decided details of the alternative assessment approach and depending on whether British Council can assist with the awarding of grades.

Alternatively, you can consider making an entry with a registered Pearson school.

We will only request payment if we are able to assist with the awarding to grades. You won’t be charged if you withdraw your entry before the entry deadline.
